In January, Mikayla and I connected instantly when she was looking for someone to help her with all the planning of her vision of a sweet summer ranch wedding in Gardnerville. Their private ranch was always her dream destination for her perfect day. Her fiancé, Austin, was also very invested in their ranch wedding and with that our partnership, and friendship was born.
Prior to us meeting, Mikayla had already envisioned were a soft pink and silver elements with a rustic feel. She really didn’t want it to feel baby shower like and so I put together a few vision boards of what I had in mind and both Mikayla and Austin were ecstatic with what I had come up with.
The design…
Mikayla was adamant about getting her big reveal moment as every bride should have, and we came up with a way, being that the ranch was all open. Austin built her some beautiful barn doors that would be closed prior to her entrance song. Once opened, hay bales were seats. The aisle had a burlap runner with flowers in metal pails hanging from shepherds hooks. A wood arch, also built by Austin with beautiful soft pink florals adorning it.
The reception area were fruitwood farm tables from Camelot Party Rentals decorated with a burlap runner and a silver runner on it. The centerpieces: a wood round with a milk can and pink florals. Vintage style bud vases stretch the length of the table. Silver glitter round placemats at each place setting. Chalkboard table numbers.
The sweetheart table had a palette backdrop built by Austin adorned with florals and a neon sign. The table has a burlap runner, and pink chiffon draped in front of it. Rustic crates florals and candles all throughout. All signs were chalkboards with rustic elements.
Once we nailed down the design, we brought on some of the best vendors our town has to offer! JustIncredible Entertainment for DJ & photobooth, Niki Ross Photography, Luna Belle Beauty, Sagebrush Spirits, Candlelight & Roses, Jill’s Creative Cakes, CocoNmoes Catering, Tahoe Film Company, Camelot & Carson Valley Event Rentals. Altogether we made it happen for Mikayla & Austin!
Time for Sweet Show Prep
The September day came and it was a full team effort to make this day so special. Luna Belle Beauty made Mikayla and her girls look effortlessly stunning with their hair & makeup skills and Mikayla’s stunning bouquet was provided by Candlelight and Roses.
Austin and his mates got ready at Carson Valley Inn.
While everyone was busied with looking perfect, we were hard at work bringing their vision to life. We managed to hit every element that was in the design, which was important to us to give them every sweet visual to maintain the feel of the day.

The Big moment for the I Do’s!
Everything is immaculately placed and it’s time for this sweet ranch ceremony to get underway! This ceremony was emotionally and aesthetically beautiful. Austin’s reaction to seeing his beautiful bride walking down the aisle to Taylor Swift’s Crazier was one, as their planner, won’t be forgotten. His emotion was felt throughout the entire ranch. Mikayla looked like a vision as her parents walked her down the aisle to her handsome fiancé. Special vows were given, tears shed, and then the moment…the special kiss tying them together for eternity.

Afterward, the formalities finished now it’s time to party! Justin from JustIncredible Entertainment was the easiest choice to be the best Emcee and DJ for this group! It was a blast. Justin never disappoints! We have Christina and Joanna from Sagebrush Spirits as the most fun bartenders I’ve had the pleasure of working with! Jill’s Creative Cake’s provided the best desserts that were devoured faster than I would have ever expected, they were amazing. CocoNmoe’s Catering provided the barbecue fair of brisket, and country style sides.
This country ranch style wedding was dream filled with sweet details and unforgettable moments. Niki Ross Photography and Tahoe Film Company were there to capture every moment in their own styles! They are some of the most talented in the business!
Working with my favorite vendors, having a truly awesome couple (who have become great friends of mine) and being able to bring this beautiful feat to life is why I do what I do! Thank you to all my fellow vendors for helping this be a day Mikayla and Austin never forgets!
