Hi I’m Ashley
I’m Ashley. I’ve been planning weddings in Reno and Tahoe for eleven years, and I still cry at them. I’m a mom, a wife, an organizer and an optimistic realist, and I absolutely love love. That’s the real reason I do this. There’s a moment at every wedding where the two of you forget anyone else is in the room, and eleven years in, that moment still gets me every time.
How This Started
It started with my own wedding.
I loved every part of planning it—the details, the design, the organization, all of it. And when the wedding was over, I honestly missed it more than I expected to. I wasn’t ready to let go of that feeling, so I decided to learn how to turn something I loved into something I could build a career around.
I put myself through school, and Elite Elegance Events started as a weekend thing after my own wedding.
For a while, I planned weddings on Saturdays and worked the rest of the week, until eventually the Saturdays won. Elite Elegance has been my full-time work ever since, and I’ve never once wished I had chosen a different path.
How I work
As Much or As Little As You Need
Every couple gets a different version of my help, on purpose. Some couples want me in every decision. Some want to plan the whole thing themselves and hand it over at the end. I’m involved as much or as little as you want me to be, and when we sit down together, I’ll be straight with you about how much help your day actually needs.
If something’s keeping you up at night, I’d rather hear about it tonight than at the rehearsal.
I only take a small number of weddings a year, so when your wedding month arrives, you have all of me. And you can always call, text or email me.
I also end up knowing every couple’s pets by name well before the wedding. That’s just what happens when you talk to people this much.
